Awarded for exhibiting a distinguished understanding of key Life Skills concepts.

Badge Criteria

To earn a Meridian Stories Life Skills Badge, the student must successfully participate in the annual Meridian Stories competition. By submitting a digital story, the student must necessarily have engaged in a range of critical 21st Century Skills or ‘Life Skills.’ Digital storytelling creation, by its very nature, involves the practice of a complex range of skill sets including, but not limited to:

• Digital Literacy
• Creativity

• Iterative Thinking
• Decision-Making
• Problem Solving
• Research
• Time Management
• Organization
• Active Listening
• Visual and Auditory Cognizance
