Tom Pierce on Producing

Tom Pierce is an award winning Cinematographer, Editor, and Broadcast Engineer. Over the past 29 years, Tom has traveled the globe working on internationally aired documentary and sports programming for most of the US Networks including, ESPN, the Olympics for NBC, and documentaries for National Geographic and the PBS Science Series NOVA. When not editing, Tom is an underwater camera operator and digital image technician for Dr. Robert Ballard, discoverer of the Titanic, on board the Ocean Exploration Ship Nautilus. As an Apple Certified Instructor, Tom shares his craft, teaching non-linear film and video editing aesthetics and techniques at the International Film & Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine and Southern Maine Community College.
