A biography is a useful tool to understand an important figure’s life. Using the words of the subject, interviews from people who knew the subject, and even other biographies, a biographer is able to decide how the world will see someone. In this project, you will combine this traditional work with a new element: Facebook. Facebook can be seen as a personal snapshot of a moment – a week or day or month in their life, depending on usage. While you have your background information posted, it’s more about what is happening to you now. And this is a unique opportunity for students to humanize the historical or literary figures that they are studying.
