Badge Description

Awarded for exhibiting a distinguished understanding of key Storytelling concepts.

Badge Criteria

To earn a Meridian Stories Storytelling Badge, the student must earn a total score of 80% or higher on their digital storytelling submission, as based on the evaluation of two outside mentors from the Education and Media professions. This score is well above the Meridian Stories norm. Specifically, the student has shown mastery in three or more of the following areas:

• Script Writing;
• Character Creation;
• Scene Creation;
• Format Command (i.e., game show, commercial, movie trailer, documentary, etc.);
• Creativity and Originality; and/or
• Narrative Cohesion.
