Badge Description

Awarded for exhibiting a distinguished understanding of key Science concepts.

Badge Criteria

To earn a Meridian Stories Science Badge, the student must earn a total score of 75% or higher as based on the evaluation of three outside Mentors from both the Education and Media professions. This score is well above the Meridian Stories norm. Specifically, the student has shown mastery in the following areas:

• Collaborative Scientific Reasoning and Thinking; and
• Command of one critical aspect of one of the following Scientific Disciplines:
• Physical Sciences;
• Life Sciences;
• Earth and Space Sciences; or
• Engineering, Technology and Applications of Science.
