Badge Description

Awarded for exhibiting a distinguished understanding of key Digital Literacy concepts.

Badge Criteria

To earn a Meridian Stories Digital Literacy Badge, the student must earn a total score of 80% or higher on their digital storytelling submission, as based on the evaluation of two outside Mentors from the Education and Media professions. This score is well above the Meridian Stories norm. Specifically, the student has shown mastery in two or more of the following areas:

• Visualization – Shot Selection, including use of Graphics, Text, Video, Stills and Archival Footage.
• Use of Sound and Music
• Editing
